I was a little worried that the lack of personnel at work this week would be sad times, but in actual fact I think I might prefer it.

This goes back quite a way actually. To my school days. I used to love it if I had reason to stalk the corridors during lesson time when there was no-one about. Or if there was event in the evening and I had to go through an area of the school where the people weren't.

So yeah.

On another tack, I realise my blogroll has gone a bit nuts lately. I'm working on my own version that will be based on latest posts and not whether or not someone nudged the server that the blog is on, but the version I've got to so far takes frickin' ages to load. So it won't be coming any time really soon.

Foop-ball tonite and tomorrow. There's gonna be a whole lotta aching going on Sunday.

I think it's aboot time I wrapped this little puppy up. Sorted.

One for the bloggers out there

Hello again.

I've spoken to a few people about stats for websites/blogs and I thought this would be useful for you.

I normally say, "I can get stats because I host my website outside of blogspot so there etc."

But recently I came across Google Analytics. I'd heard about it ages ago but never really twigged what it was. Basically what I'm telling you is that if you sign up to Google Analytics (by going here), stick a bit of code at the bottom of your blog template (follow their instructions) and wait, you'll be able to see some lovely pie charts and informations about who has been looking at your blog.

Unfortunately I don't think it can tell you if the government has earmarked your blog for 'further analysis' due to 'subversive tendencies' or 'rebellious streaks' or 'somewhat distorted view of reality'.

But other than that is does a pritty good job.

Anywhich, moving aside. If you have a nifty little check on the sidebar (under the title 'out there') you'll find a new and updated blogroll. Is your blog on there? Yes? No? It now give you the top 10 blogs in order of who updated most recently.

It's not working perfectly just yet as it appears that it needs some blogs to be updated before it registers in the correct order. But you know how to solve that? Update your blog. If it still doesn't appear then I might have forgotten to add it to my list. So let me know.

I'm so bored of typing now that you don't get anything more.
