A beautiful day to die..
Hello peeps.
We're getting close to the end here. And guess how much work on the new blog has been done? That's right campers! None!
But on the plus side Dave's got some cool stuff going down over there at his Blogspot blog. Plus Matt's moved everything over (with a little help from yours truly after a few tinnies) so nothing will change there come May 2nd (there'll still be no activity - no change see?!)
Also there's all sorts of election stuff going down. It's nice to see my attitude has got better in 5 years. Now I think it's all a big crap shoot. Give or take.
In case you were wondering, my manifesto:
- Defence budget goes on aid (cheers Bill Hicks for that one!)
- All school league tables ditched, onus on children and parents to obtain a good education, teaching assessed on teaching not kids' grades
- Restrict ultimate editorial control to one outlet per medium per person, papers can still publish but they have to co-publish with a paper with diametrically opposing views.
- Maximum wage AND bonuses linked directly to lowest wage and bonuses in the company.
- Big poster on every corner saying in big, blood-red letters: "don't be a dick!"
I can't find any of the major parties that are peddling this type of claptrap, so I'm going to have to compromise somewhere along the way.
