Alternative Title: Everyone's at it


There's a tab on blogger now that says "monetise". I say 'now', but it could have been there for several years.

I think what it amounts to is that I piss you all off (even more?) with those annoying google adverts that purport to be relevant to the guff I'm talking..

Can you imagine? Actually, better not to I should think.

I can't tell if society is actually going down the pan or if it's just that I keep reading the headlines on the wrong papers when I'm queuing in the [insert supermarket name here].

One thing I definitely don't like that I've had some limited experience of is the need for consultants who are ultimately telling you things you want to hear. And overpaid consultants. That usually falls in the same bracket.

I keep thinking that there must be a massive gap in the market for consultants who are reasonably priced, and will actually tell you things you need to hear. You know, like, "stop spending money on consultants". I can't see it happening.

I'm probably wrong though. Consultants just might be all that's holding this country together.
