Malcolm Gladwell says that to truly become a genius in something, you must dedicate 10,000 hours to its cause.

It was at the point of reading this article that I realised just how buggered I am.

I mean we knew that was never going to happen with blogging. But I hoped I might have a shot at songwriting.

Hope is a funny thing. I haven't written a full song in over year and I still had this vain fancy. Ever the optimist I suppose.

Well anyways. I gotta buzz. Drinks followed by Open Mic. Which will hopefully be a cracker. Followed by songwriting practice I suppose (ha).
