Hey there,
Just been to the second occurance of an event that's designed to allow christians (or anybody who's there, but it's mainly christians) to air
any questions about christianity they may have.
This is pretty good for a number of reasons. Since we
all have beliefs (and yes, I'm talking to all of you, even you right wing american evangelicals and you dogmatic scientists) and since
all of us (no matter how wise, clever, assured, whatever) are susceptible to the gravest of errors, it is an essential thing to question those beliefs and make sure we are as sure as we can be about them (whilst, naturally, holding them in a state of perpetual humility).
Sorry for the brackets, ellipses, sidenotes and deviations but I need to make sure this is clear. The sentence does make sense. I've checked it several times.
Having to argue what you believe is invaluable.
I had a number of points that I've (unbelievably) forgotten in the course of writing all the frickin' asides up there.. Curse my nature to explain myself. Anyways, regardless, the point still stands, this was a good thing and should happen more often.
On a side note, Matt (one of the few people I can almost guarantee will bother to read this [insert expletive that you're comfortable with]), I'm waiting for the last poker nite pictures. When you gonna hook a brother up?
The rest of you, have a good week. It's another Fizzle dance show this week. But this time a substantial amount of family will be "sharing the joy". So they can all revel
in the inevitable post.
Overandprobablyout (like England!)
