late entry

By the way, did I mention that I'm going to Switzerland tomorrow. Yup yup. For 10 days. Hopefully I'll still be around. Mebbe even get some tasty pictures for you here.

Yeah. That would be sweet.

In other news we played at The Carlisle in Hastings last nite. Good times. Playing the hometown rocks!

In other, other news this month has blown the roof off of every other month in terms of hits here. I mean don't get me wrong, we're not talking millions, we're talking hundreds but still. Dizzamn! Although I think talking about my horsefly bite got me where I am. That's looking a whole lot normal now thanks for asking. It looked a bit scary for a while but now it's all good.

I know I already just posted but..

I'm posting again. Let's face it, what I just posted probably wasn't "satisfactory" anyway. I know y'all out there in la-la-land like to know what's going on in my head so you can feel better about yours.

Any case. Couple things:

1. That probably wasn't a mosquito bite. It was probably a horsefly bite. Thanks to Ollie for the headsup on that one. You see Horseflies don't jab. They prefer to slash. Hence the frikkin' pain!

b. Didn't post about Fizzle's dance show.. Sorry. Well. I did actually, but not post-.. not after the show. Instead I think all the people who read this who actually went should comment here and tell the people what they thought. I'm glaring at you FAMILY!

K I'm done I think.

This most definitely wasn't the perfect post. Must seek more charm. And effortlessness.

Speaking of which, who's seen Mr Ashton's new video. I know I'm waving my hand like I.. well, gosh.. like I just don't care right now. It's tastier than a kebab after 10 pints.

Elbs is still not home so it's ok that I'm up late on the computer. She's a dirty stopout. *nods*. It's true. Santa told me. And he don't lie.

OVerANdI'd better gonowbeforeit gets worse..

the perfect post..

COMPELLING GREETING!!

CHARMING ANECDOTE!!!!!

it's time..

Hello.

I thought maybe it was time for a slightly longer one. My fans need me and so on. So what's been up?

I got a new job. It starts in September. I'm going to be a Reprographics Technician. That's basically a photocopying bitch. Although there should be more elements to it than that. That's good beans, what else?

The album is oh so nearly there. I'm actually running out of ways to say "a little bit nearer". However, we just have Paul's vocals to do for a couple tracks and then Ally's vocals to do for one track and then acoustic guitar for one track and it'll be ready to be mixed. Which will happen over the summer. Yay.

Also, I was wandering through Asda the other day and noted their "cleaning stations" at the end of a number of aisles. These are glorified bins and I was thinking to myself, "there can't be much call for a bin in a supermarket. You're too busy buying the food to be eating it and throwing the packaging on the floor", when lo and behold, I saw an empty coke can sat on a display. Turns out that unfortunately you can never underestimate humanity's capacity for stupidity, laziness, selfishness and arrogance. I prove this on an almost daily basis by saying "Someone else should be doing this so that I don't have to". Go me.

Still, I think it's time for a campaign. Whoever it is that thinks it's acceptable to dump fridges, mattresses, and half a ton of frickin' rubble (I'll try and get a picture of that one - it's unbelievable) in the lanes around New Ash Green must pay. My proposed solution is to stakeout the main site of these offences until the culprit shows. We then tail them back to their house to find out where it is and spend the rest of the night transferring said pile of carp into their front garden. Or back garden. Or window box. Whichever it is that they have. Who's with me?

Right. Shower time. Following that, dressing time. After which it will be going to work time. And I don't need to tell you what comes right after that, do I?

we are free to be free

Hey there,

Just been to the second occurance of an event that's designed to allow christians (or anybody who's there, but it's mainly christians) to air any questions about christianity they may have.

This is pretty good for a number of reasons. Since we all have beliefs (and yes, I'm talking to all of you, even you right wing american evangelicals and you dogmatic scientists) and since all of us (no matter how wise, clever, assured, whatever) are susceptible to the gravest of errors, it is an essential thing to question those beliefs and make sure we are as sure as we can be about them (whilst, naturally, holding them in a state of perpetual humility).

Sorry for the brackets, ellipses, sidenotes and deviations but I need to make sure this is clear. The sentence does make sense. I've checked it several times.

Having to argue what you believe is invaluable.

I had a number of points that I've (unbelievably) forgotten in the course of writing all the frickin' asides up there.. Curse my nature to explain myself. Anyways, regardless, the point still stands, this was a good thing and should happen more often.

On a side note, Matt (one of the few people I can almost guarantee will bother to read this [insert expletive that you're comfortable with]), I'm waiting for the last poker nite pictures. When you gonna hook a brother up?

The rest of you, have a good week. It's another Fizzle dance show this week. But this time a substantial amount of family will be "sharing the joy". So they can all revel in the inevitable post.

Overandprobablyout (like England!)

Hello there.

I realise that I should be working harder to keep you all happy. Really I do. But you see its.. Well I just have.. There have been.. You know..

Anyway, how's it been? I'm not too bad. I even played foop-ball twice this week. And also some other stuff. But honestly I'm too tired. It's been an awful long day. Awful long. Not awful, long. Because that would not be right.

Really, it's bedtime now.
