My boys
Huh?
oh really?
BBC NEWS | Magazine | Down with blogs... so here's another: "Some believe that only journalists should really be allowed to write endlessly about themselves."
Right. Of course. They've earned themselves the right I suppose. By being the biggest hypocrites the world has seen*.
Anyone who thinks that people shouldn't bother with blogs because of whatever is being stupendously dumb. I'm not making you read this. Or are you going to ban pen and paper next?
Seriously get a grip of yourselves.
RA RA RA. etc.
*hideous exaggeration coupled with a generous lashing of generalisation. But still.

you're not preeety today, you are tired boy
What a weekend.
Great foop-ball match on Friday followed by Poker til ahemfourinthemorningahem. At which the brothers Hawk cleared up I might add.
Then on Saturday I was up early to cook Aran some breakfast as he tore down the old fence to make way for the new. Then on down to Hastings (well, I ended up in Rye actually, but that's another story) to catch the minibus headed to France for the Rantmeister's stag day. Fun times.
Sunday marked my first ever cricket match. I fielded like a diva and batted like a golden duck. Yes. It's true. My dad might disown me now :P. However, it was fun.
But now I am tired boy.
BATHTIME!
** S:VPJP: ESYVJ ** Can't even see straight. Probably. Have you learnt your lesson yet?

I choose this..
Today my quote is from the delightfully fresh david ford (tasty bit of alliteration for you there). In case you're reading it on a day that is not today (although how could you not be, it's always today today) the quote comes from this verse of his Song For The Road:
Now I hope I'm not wrong in my assumptions, but I take this to be him singing about doing what he does for a living, writing songs and playing them to people. It strikes me that that's a great position to end up in. Doing a job that you can genuinely say, "If I could spend my last minutes alive doing anything, it would be this." I mean how many people can actually say that? Not many would be my guess. And I have a slim chance that I could be one of those people. And how much effort am I putting into this? Not enough. That's not to say I'm sat about. I mean we're putting a lot of effort into the album and it's sounding good, but I don't feel like I'm doing everything I could. Story of my life.
Think on Mr. The Toby, think on.
Overandout.
** ALCOHOL WATCH **
I thought the joke was getting tired but then I drank a fifth of vodka and everything became more funny so I carried on with it. Also, a joke's only worth doing if you do it ad nauseum.
Now I know someday this all will be over and it's hard to say what most will I miss. Just give me one way to spend my last moments alive and I choose this, I choose this, I choose this. I choose this, I choose this, I choose this. I choose this, I choose this, yeah I choose this.

and somehow..
I'm heading for the whole "post title is total obscurity" thing aboot now. I know it's annoying and hopelessly tenuous but what the hey, I've got a whole new lease of life with posting these days so let's not waste it with qualms over what I'm actually posting.
Y'all need to go out and get Chain Reaction some time soon. That's a board game and it's brought me hilarity recently. In fact I possibly can't recall a time with as much hilarity apart from Zed's Party. For serious. (I should watch Zoolander again; It's a great movie).
Anyways. I'd better go. Late, tired, etc.. (great Gary Larson cartoon if you've ever seen it by the way).
Actually going this time. Goodbye.
** ALCOHOL WATCH **
Drunk people: Only annoying if you haven't had a few yourself. Think aboot it.

Hey there y'all..
I'm in Cambridge. That's in England. Near London. Ish. I'm here with Ol & Sass. We are having fun. That is aboot all I can tell you just aboot now. I quite like Cambridge. Not that I have seen all of it. But still.
I don't really have any devastating revelations. As I say, of late there are less. Mebbe I do have a life after all..
By the way I have dropped that third dot for good now. It ain't coming back.
That's aboot it.
** ALCOHOL WATCH **
We went to the Distillery near Cambridge today. And holy cow! I fell into one of the vats. It went all kinds of kerazy after that, I can tell you.

new feature monday
It would seem that some of my viewers in lalaland have concerns over the fact that I've only been mentioning alcohol in almost all of my posts. Of course I offer my apologies profusely. From now on I'm showcasing a new feature called ALCOHOL WATCH™. This feature will now ensure that I talk about alcohol in all of my posts. I'm sorry about this glaring omission. But you can rest assured, I do really care about all of you guys out there and am here to pander to your every whim..
Yours, etc...
***ALCOHOL WATCH***
My dear brother came back from his vacations in Spain and bought me a bottle of Sambuca. The lovable tyke.

my debt to society
As Mr. Hatt has quite rightly pointed out (and then deleted) I have not posted all too often lately..
The reasons are somethingfold:
1. I have been working my arse off at work of late. Let me tell you, I work when there's stuff to do and if there isn't I don't tend to make a big deal of it, but I do slack off as I am wont to do. Recently there has been more work than there has been me.
2. Doing the album has kind of drained me creatively speaking. It's sounding phat though.
3. I think there was a third reason somewhere along the lines. But it got lost. It got lost with being out for Martin's leaving thing and the MD buying all toomany drinks.
5. Maybe this blog thing was all one of my fads and now it's fading.
6. Probably not.
Anyways. Studio tomorrow and there's a me shaped dent next to my wifely in the bedstead so off must I go.
How's that Matt? Given that although it's taken me 7 of your posts to post (although I'm not sure you've counted that right, but I've had a few so we'll give you the benefit of the doubt) I most often post a bajillion to your .1 posts, we'll call it a draw. Mmmkay?
Also, yesterday I went for a couple pints with Matt O from the dBs. What a great chap.
Word.
Overandout.

that's what I meant
Hello.
Monday again already. Had some thoughts on the bus on the way to work, but lo, I forgot them. Ha ha. Mostly I was trying to tell my brain that it wasn't feeling queasy it was a trick. Sometimes it worked.
White wine in the sun is awesome by the way. Big thanks to the weather for showing up at the weekend.
And I'm pretty much done. Another afternoon of the MAELSTROM to go. Then two days off and IT BEGINS AGAIN. Oh mother of all that is unpure and distasteful. Or something. Oops there I go again.
Better stop before it gets any wors3.
