Long. Long. Days.
It was joelyboy's birthday yesterday. Which made for fun weekends. And we got to have another fun family meal yay (FFMY for short)!
Right. Must go. The slog continues...

I went to pick Mark up from the aeroport yesterday. His flight arrived at 10.40pm. Consequently, sequentially, ergo, concordantly I am ti-i-i-hired this morning. My eyes feel like they've been sat on.
It's good to have the south african back though. For seriously. He's fun.
So what are your plans for the weekend? Anything good? Me too.

Are you happy with your mortgage?
Kudos to you my friend if you know what I'm quoting. Updation (should be a word) is still rather slow here at tobiwan.co.uk. That's because I really have nothing at all that interesting to relate to you. Sorry.
I can, however, tell you that Minesweeper is very addictive. And that's aboot it.

Hacked
Hello there.
In case you're wondering what Mr Hatt's comment in the post below is aboot, I took the liberty of taking a little memento of what all went down as I suspected that Matt was in fact a totalitarian bee-hatch who's into censorship and all that stuff.

HAHAHAHAHAHA. That'll learn you for beating me at Pro Evo, Hatt-face.
Boy am I in for it now.

Right. First off, I am ti-i-ired. So I think I'll play foop-ball tonite. Logical you see.
And another thing: I just remembered how absolutely damn great Poor Old Lu are. I seem to forget for long periods of time, but then I remember. Currently I'm listening to A Picture Of the Eighth Wonder. DAMN.
That's aboot it for right aboot now.
Come again.

Jack rocks
Just got home from Open Mic Night the first. Hosted by the indomitable* Jack Lewis.
It was very cool. Although it did include a bunch of drunk people, me and teh Anwar singing Tribute by Tenacious D. Badly. But hey-ho, I'm sure Mashford will disagree.
All in all a very satisfying evening. Given that it began with a curry of my own making. And ended with blogging. Gosh I'm just too cool.
Or something.

Hey Chizzlers
Matt most likely won't tell you, so I will. We're listening to teeoones, drinking bee-ars and playing PRO EVO at his house. It's fun. And you want to be here. Now. Unless you don't.
Have a good Saturday nite. Wherever you are.
Or whatever.

Just when I thought I couldn't loathe Big Brother more...
I can't believe people would actually think the fame from reality TV is desirable. Ugh. Makes me want to hit stuff...

Attention Everyone
It has come to my attention (through watching Friends last nite) that the phrase:
"... so ... "
is getting tired and old. I refer to the friendsism of using this word to emphasise that you are something, as in "I was so not ready for that" or "I am so going to Central Perk".
It is time to let it die a death.
There will be no discussion or debate on this. It has been decided.

Maybe I'm smelling things...
You ever thought about how weird the phrase "perhaps you're seeing things" is? I only noticed because I wanted to convey a similar sentiment about a smell I thought I could smell and it sounds all wrong. I guess the phrase should be "perhaps you're imagining that you're seeing things". Although that's not quite so punchy.
It is interesting that we don't think about the meaning of things because we're so used to them. Just another example of the human ability to turn off and run on autopilot.
An interesting exercise is to think about walking whilst you're doing it. Like, think "how am I doing this so effortlessly?" or something.
Or think about swallowing.
Or typing in a blog. Which could explain why so much carp gets written here. And elsewhere on the inter-net.
ovrndout.

a sorry state of affairs
yes yes y'all. I'm back at work. It's been a reasonably productive holiday actually. So you know that I'm not a lazy bum.
By the way, the snowman of doom melted. I'll try and get that pictar to you later. I can still see those eyes when I close mine though... I can still hear the screams. Well. I can't actually, but if there had been any then I most likely would still be able to.
I have in my possession the latest Star Chamber songs. Very tasty I have to say. Unavailable to the public also. So there.
Well, now I'm back at work I expect normal service to be resumed. Although possibly it's only actually my parents and Jeth that read the bleddy thing. Going by who adds quotes for my quote of the day machine.
I'm taking 2 days off work a week to make strangeday happen. I will also see if I can't get a bit of extra cash through web design. So if you know anyone who wants a nice, cheap website, let me know.
That's aboot it for now.
The barrier's down, the lights are flashing, but the train ain't coming: tobiwan.
