more of the same

What to say? What to say to you on this grey and dull Monday morning?

I guess I could tell you some random thoughts. Been a while since I've done that.

I was slightly surprised on the way over to France to see not a few people ordering in quite big drinks orders. This was round about 10 in the morning. Maybe this is a standard occurence, but not one I've witnessed, I must confess. Now technically I guess there isn't anything against drinking that early. But there is a general british thing about it. Something to do with a yard arm I believe. In any case, why does being on a ferry seem to relax everyone's standards? Or being abroad for that matter. Any takers?

Why is it that illness often feels worse in the morning? And indeed, why is it that generally upon waking I don't feel all too great? I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case when I was a kid. It's something that developed during adolescence. Is there actually a medical reason for it, or is it just that I'm getting old?

I can't wait for Christmas. Not so much because of all the presents and magic that appealed when I was a kid. Mainly because it's time off work, it's time with people I feel relaxed around, and I can eat and drink to my heart's content. Possibly not what Arlord had in mind when he came here. Still, it's all good.

I think that's a-mah thoughts a-for a-today-ah.

Right on sistah!

We're going to another one of Fizzle's shows tonite. This time she be tango-ing.

Take it easy...

The Toby

No magic? Really? Not even a little twinge when you wake up and know that there is Bucks Fizz and a stocking waiting for you?
