This Friday here at tobiwan.co.uk it's Unrelated Thoughts Friday. It only comes round every so often kids, so you'd better enjoy it.

- Turning off your alarm in the period in between sleeping and waking can be hazardous. It's at precisely this point when you think, I'll get up now, and then fall asleep. This is why snooze buttons can be a good thing. Fortunately this morning I only fell back asleep for a few minutes. But it coulda bin bad I tells ya.

- Why do people apologise for ringing someone's mobile phone and disturbing them? It's not their fault that the person with the mobile's been disturbed. If they didn't want disturbing, why not switch the thing off? See also: Phoning someone on the mobile and asking them if they can speak now. Again, if they didn't want to speak now, they shouldn't have picked up the phone.

- My stereo has gone the way of the wooly mammoth. Sometimes it still works, but then other times it makes a squeeeee typea noise. I think the speakers are still good. So my question is: Does anyone have a spare amp kicking around?

That's about it for now. My house should be warm by the end of tomorrow.
